All things said, this is a forum built around Maemo devices. There will of course be a default desire and defense of that platform. Same desire and defense for Apple products you will see in Apple communities. Etc etc etc.

It amazes me that some members of this community seem to disregard that.

It's not out of line to favor the product(s) around which your community was built. It IS out of line, however, for anyone to troll a community. It's also disingenuous to complain about natural, normal behavior of product fans in their own community. And spreading FUD is cheap.

THAT is uncalled for.
