I would support this view a week ago.
Now that I have tried both, I do not agree. The point is "better for the palm".
Glass screen of Streak does not rip the skin of the top of my finger wkile dragging, like the plastic one of N900 used to do. I resorted to using fingernail or a stylus to workaround this.
And I just need to lightly touch the glass. N900 required some pressure to register a tap - again, using fingernail worked around this.
