I used to think my N900 phone functionality was basic: no speed dialing, no voice dialing, no customisable ringtones for different contact groups, etc but the introduction of really useful apps like MyContacts, K9 Call, Horizontal Call and Phone Speakers Switch have turned me round.

I believe the N900 is now one of the most versatile and capable PHONES available (and is one amazing pocket computer to boot).

Anyone who uses their N900 as a phone should try out these apps.

In what way do you find N900 'basic' as a phone?
