Well I no fan boy, but I'll list out the reasons why i did not buy the iphone.

No SD card support.

No multitasking.

No abdobe flash support.

Cant send files over bluetooth to other devices except for other apple products.

Can't use iphone as a pendrive/hardrive, the iphone restricts anything else from being placed on it except for mp3's or pictures.

Lack of support for other mp3 codecs. A 64kps .ogg file takes up half the space of an mp3 or aac file and has the same sound quality. For eg 6GB in mp3's or aac files would be 3GB If converted to 64kps ogg file.

Jail breaking voids warranty, or even worst, spoils the device.

Don't ever sit on that thing or drop it, it cracks quite easily.

When it comes down to it, all the iphone has going for it is...apps

I can hack my n900 make my own scripts etc etc...
I could go on but I'll stop right there....
