hmm, not sure how you could work around it if it's wha tit looks like. there must be more to it, since it seems like twitter is just not responding with valid content. presumably other clients are fine though. do you have oauth configured? I know they're switching off basic auth support sometime soon, though I assume that will just cause access denied type probs. does a manual refresh of the timeline work?
