i have run into an issue the last couple of days. my guess it has something to do with the NITDroid installation as unless my unit is plugged in, the droid will just go into a shut down mode after flashing my led red.
seems the last two days, i have started having charging issues. maybe someone here has had similar and can help out.
when i plug the unit in, it starts charging immediately as normal, however after about 5 minutes, it will stop charging.
there is no mention of "please remove plug from wall..." just stops charging.
i have tried several different batteries, with the same effect.
when i take the plug out, the "please remove plug from wall..." shows on the screen. so the unit is recognizing that it is pluged in.
this happens with multiple batteries and two different travel chargers.
my guess is software.
does anyone know any xterm commands that i can try to see what is going on?
thank you for your help.
also, i have looked at the
http://wiki.maemo.org/N900_Software_BME
as well and tried the start/stop bme codes.
and even plugged it in with the wall charger and did the stop bme, then after about 25 seconds the solid amber/yellow led came on.
the wiki says that will reset it to defaults. should i assume by plugging it in, root, stop bme, and waiting to see the amber show solid will fix the charging issue?
