A higher capacity battery also increases weight and adds bulk, and to be honest the N900 is already too heavy - Nokia need hardware that is slim, light and "sexy" to be taken seriously at the high end.

Another brick is not going to be a success, no matter how powerful it is or how wonderful the software it runs.
