Bumping this topic too (bumped Open Arena already). Is this engine dead too? I installed if,copied .pak files (I used MC to create directory starting with "." ), started it and... Nothing. Black window poped out, then closed itself. By the way, how you can run game via xterm? I'd like to see what's the problem.
