Not much - perhaps the messiah-like marketing and the cult of their followers. All the nothing in the App Store. Or that I sold my shares in them way too early :-) The too-close control of everything and yourself - but perhaps this is simply the price for everything they do well:
The quality of their hardware design and marketing execution. How they make technology accessible for Mum and Dad and Kid, converting the computer into a consumer device (I'm typing this on a MacBook Pro while doing iPhone app development.)

Still, I prefer the liberty and frontier-experience that Maemo/Meego gives me for mobile devices. The good contacts and open source / communication. That you can make a difference and aren't drowning in 200'000 crapps :-)
And on the desktop, I prefer Windows for the rich environment and the unlimited possibilities, the high efficiency of doing everything.

Ah the world - it's not as simple as some think :-)
