I use 6 desktops and would use more if not for the fact that the facebook widget was crap and there is currently no easy way to transport to a particular desktop without scrolling through one by one till you get to the one you want.

Desktop 1 is my planner. Has calendar home showing 9 next scheduled events, has 4 clocks for 4 different time zones, shopper app, etc.

Desktop 2 is my command centre. Has queen beecon overclock short cuts, ip information widget and 10 desktop command execution widgets showing different info (root space, data counter, battery, etc). Also has terminal shortcut, settings, search, etc.

Desktop 3 is my general desktop with all short cuts for things I use regularly that do not fall into one of the other desktops. Also has the photo widget.

Desktop 4 is my media centre and entertainment centre with short cuts to games and all the media players I use (media player widget, pannuci, instinctiv, media box, gpodder, tunewiki).

Desktop 5 is my communications desktop. Has shortcuts to conversations, email, call log, contacts, facebrick, birthdays and shortcuts for my 14 most used contacts.

Desktop 6 is my bible desktop. Has shortcuts to katana, rapier (do not use it anymore but keep it because it looks like a broach my baby is wearing where I have positioned it) and 4 sticky notes widgets with different bible passages.
