I have been using Pidgin for around 4 months until the last update actually enabled autologin. The wierd part is that I cant seem to find the settings in the Preferences... As soon as i connect to an internet connection Wifi/3g, it immediately connect and logs into the messenger.. only way to logout is to either login to another machine or open pidgin messenger and disconnect the account... Unfortuntely this costs me a lot when im on roaming and for no apparent reason.

Please Assist me in this issue. Am I the only one who is having a problem? Was the Pidgin messenger intended to autologin? If so, what i could do to not do so and login only when i say it to?

I have searched a few threads and couldn'tfind anyone lising somethin similar (I may not have looked hard enough, but a brief such dint yield positive results.) Therefore, I hope I am not double posting.
