not heard anything ffrom voda yet. emailed and posted my letter (recorded delivery) last week. I wonder if I can legally conclude that silence from them means acceptance. Anyone think if I just cancel the direct debit now, that it wuld be OK? Afterall, Vodafone are allowed to get away with just sending a text to say they want to change my contract, and not even telling me how long I have if I want to complain about it. They are assuming that silence on my part means acceptance on that. Wish I wrote that in the letter now. Something like 'If I do not hear from you by 14 days then I will cancell the direct debit and assume you accept my cancellation.'

Might have to phone them up (Didn't want to have to do that, because I always seem to get the numpty when I ring up for things like this). Could maybe blag it saying I already cancelled and just need them to send my pac code and see what they say lol. worth a try I suppose. Might get someone on the phone that will just press the button and send me it. knowing my luck though I'll get the person who wants to argue about it, or the one who doesn't know what a computer is.

PS there was a VERY good template letter a few pages back. page 53 or 54 maybe? I used that, modified it slightly to put my own details in etc, then added an extra bit at the beginning.
