I didn't find any other (easy) way to update date except fcron. So I installed fcron (guide: http://wiki.maemo.org/Fcron )
and added the script on post #54 like:
first command: fcrontab -e
then a to edit mode. (add script) esc-button to leave edit mode, then :wq to save and quit.

it should do it.
