Grosse problem. That means that at some point during indexing it encountered an issue and either hung or cored, leaving you with issues.

Image viewer works based on the index, not real life folders. It takes the list from the tracker pass, then, should thumbs be there, it uses those (otherwise black images or "broken" images, depending on situation).

The fact that your videos have no thumbs means it crashed, likely that it never finished indexing, which is why you have partial lists.

Crashed. Either an image is corrupted, some data is corrupted, maybe the file system.

The folder can't be changed, it's always DCIM. It can be changed to card (also DCIM).

The file manager on the device calls it "Camera", but it's actually the DCIM it looks into. The "Images" points to ".images". The reason this happens is for localization, in your case "Kamera" points to DCIM.

Perhaps somehow its a bug that came with an upgrade?
Working as designed.

And i tried to switch the Filter Settings in many ways...
Even to the specific folder doesnt work.

Sorry, but im confused and u?
Picture No Longer Available means that it was indexed by the tracker, but deleted, as in, the viewer can't find it.

I'd connect the device to the PC in Mass Storage mode, move all images from ".images" and "DCIM" to desktop, disconnect N900 (safely remove or equivalent).

Then connect again and copy them back. Once safely removed from the PC a second time, the tracker will try to re-index everything. Let it. See how that fares.

Also, for the duration of the exercise I'd move all videos from the device to desktop, live it less excuse to hang.

If all fails, you can simply format the mass storage device, after copying all from it, then restore after format. Also, fsck could help in this case.

But it makes a lot more sense that you simply have a broken image somewhere that dumps the load on tracker-process.

Oh, and, after you have moved all images, you could also reset the tracker database to start fresh. I think it's "tracker-processes --hard-reset". Do a search before typing stuff I half-remember into terminal.
