Perhaps the most logical response before answering the question would be 'Why?'

I can't actually think of a single positive reason for why you would want to to do this, so I'm all ears.

Having said that, you would need to modify the baseband engine to have even a remote chance of doing such a thing, but even if you could without bricking it beyond repair, what are you going to do about the authentication key?
