My n900 has just stopped accepting that i have a lead connected to it (usb or mains charger).

Last time i used it with a lead was yesterday at around 3pm i copy/paste some pictures over to my work pc. Everything went fine no problems and then when it came to later on in the day i plugged the phone into my home pc,the phone didn't register that it was connected by usb at all and even the wall charger doesn't charge.

On all my chargers and usb leads i had filed the teeth down so the connections were a looser fit and have had no problems at all with them.

Any ideas anyone??

strange thing i have found,

if i turn the phone off then plug the usb lead into the phone from my pc, it starts to charge showing the orange charging led then goes into a loop with no back light but showing the nokia splash screen and the booting dotted bar.i can turn the phone on and it boots fine but still will not charge.
