Please describe what you mean by "lock GPS position" or what starts happening when the GPS position is locked.
When we use Places app for Facebook thru N900's firefox browser,
Iam gettng error saying "We couldnt determine the coordinates of this location.Check if your latitude and longitude are in range and verify the format of the location.\n"

If you are in US,,you can check frm your N900 firefox browser by getting on to touch.facebook.com

My perception is our N900 gps even on fine accuracy,it still deviates the lat long value slightly every sec.is there any way that we can lock the lat long value of gps for the instance.
