Note that a lot of sites just uses your IP number to get a rough guestimate of location. This does not work well with mobile units using ppp, since the IP number your unit gets doesn't have a strong relation to the physical location of the phone.

When I do access the net from home, my IP number can be traced to the city I'm in because the IP number belongs to an ISP in that city.
