For those who experience severe excruciating pain when reading text that is not in the most perfect Queens English language and always moans about it, then b0ll0x to you.... English is not my first language.
however, thank you all who took time to write some positive text here.
im happy to see (like myself) many of you guys will actually keep
and continue to use your nokia and the fact that some of you are you are looking for another same device for backup purposes really have me amazed.

this alone will help confirm my fears towards the future as i dont
want to invest lots of time and energy into a product that will fade away in the midst in a quick step fashion.

it is inevitable that at some point all bought electronics products
will cross that line from being useful to dead but if the n900 has
life kicking for the next few years and beyond then my time and energy is worth while.

thank you again for being positive. your text has helped me alot
to arrive at a good conclusion for the n900.
