I don't think we're getting away from these blobs all that quickly.. however IIRC they are trying to make these blobs under a "redistributable" policy. That way.. regardless of paid employees at Nokia porting for N900 or not.. the MeeGo distribution will be legally able to distribute those drivers.

(N900 specific, not talking future MeeGo..)
