Would it be hard to develop a widget for Diablo that would simply sit on the desktop and either; a) Show how many unread SMS and Vmails are in GVoice/DC (with a time/date stamp on when they came in), and/or b) Show the first, say, 25 characters of the latest SMS in the inbox? Nothing fancy apart from that
