My variant of the bug is that after rebooting the device, only some very few (and always the same) widgets are present. This stared since 2 months ago, and now I know why. The reason is the currency desktop widget. I have de-installed it and now it seems to work ! All widget on the desktop (Facebook, Weather, Monitor, Mail, location, some Shortcuts, calender, y. notes, player, step counter) remain now after I restart. It was the latest program I have installed and I'm pretty sure, that after I did this, the problem started. I use PR1.2
