Since this is allready devolved into total off-topicness, here's good article from Reuters today, which really highlights Symbian's global marketshare.
Nokia outperforming rivals on mobile ads
"
Nokia's phone operating system has nearly 50 percent of the global mobile advertising market, more than its overall industry market share and ahead of Apple, a new survey showed on Monday
.
In terms of advert impressions, Nokia had almost
10 billion
ad impressions in July.
Apple had 1.6 billio
n impressions while Android had over
711 million.
"
This is why Nokia isn't giving up on Symbian yet. Abandoning away the 90%+ of humanity that can't afford high-end phones would be really stupid.
