Not in Europe, the N800 is really expensive here, like all electronics. We never had a price cut, and even the 770 still costs about $400 in most of the places that sell it.

(EDIT: I just checked Verkkokauppa again and the N800 has just been cut from €399 to €269. Something is definitely afoot.)

Mind you, the tablets have never really sold that well in Europe, they seem to be far more popular in the USA. This is exactly the opposite to how Nokia phones sell.

I think Maemo.org has already stated that Chinook will work on N800 hardware as well as future tablet hardware. Can't find the link though...

Seems unlikely, Nokia hasn't submitted any Wimax tablets to the FCC for approval. If they had, we would have seen the details posted all over the internet.
