Thank you very much to those involved, I didn't know what my code was (it may very well have been the default).

I ran the command line as root, interestingly it looks like the code it returned was actually unencrypted (displayed something like "root:12345"), I'm still lagging behind on updates so I am at PR1.1 (or possibly 1.1.1 if that makes any difference.
