ADD:Can Easy Debian slow down my N900?
Think of Easy Debian as a default set of applications. You can uninstall/install what you like.

It's all installed in a 2gb image file so any changes you make to Easy Debian will not mess up your n900. However, it does share your n900 /home/user folder - e.g. any file you create add in your n900 is visible in Easy Debian too.

LXDE is low-resource window manager/desktop environment. If you want to you can install others (but I would not recommend it and don't uninstall it - it might break stuff )
