This would be great.

I have my google account pick up (& delete) mail from a secondary POP3 account. When using the gmail web interface, I can send mail 'from' this second address. When using Modest, I can only send 'from' my gmail account.

I hate email clients that don't let you edit the 'from' field, but Modest is far from being the only one.
