It sounds like you have a different theme to other people. Different themes have different coloured keyboards.

You can change the theme of your N800 by going to the desktop, then select the "Home" menu from the top, then "Tools", then "Themes", then choose the "Adria" theme.

Adria is the default theme on most N800s, and it has a black keyboard.
