Not really. I am not saying it is easy, but Android works on the Motorola Droid which has fairly similar hardware to N900. Android (NitDroid) is being ported/adapted for the N900's hardware, not for Maemo. Maemo and Android are completely different. So any software that runs on one platform, would need to be almost completely redone to work in Maemo. This is why we try to port from Pandora, because the OS is similar. This is the same like dual booting Windows 7 and Ubuntu 10 on the same machine, and wondering why no one can make a Windows 7 app work on Ubuntu, since they are on the same machine.
