no its not a must to use the GUI ..

but i'm not sure,
can i keep the files in the same folder? i have stored it like that:

root/ps3/psfreedom-enable.sh
root/ps3/psfreedom-disable.sh
root/ps3/freedom.ko 
root/ps3/default_payload-3_41.bin 
root/ps3/payload_dump_elfs_3_41.bin
so if i go to terminal

root
cd ps3
psfreedom-enable.sh
than it must work, right?
