No. Dont have that problem.

Wireless goes off when screen goes off. Do the following should fix your wireless problem:

Settings>Display>Screen timeout>set a number bigger than 2 min. I use 10 minutes. Sure, it is a balance between screen goes off vs battery life, or you just have to keep turn off screen when NOT in use, not much of a hassel

Wireless & Networks>Wi-Fi settings>menu button (the lock switch next to the earplug outlet)>Advanced>Wi-Fi sleep policy>Never or pick anything you like...

My wifi stays on without problem.
