When application is on background or the screen is off, the GPS is in sleep mode (the app doesn't get position updates). So it might take same time before the GPS gets the fix again. You can check the location from update position dialog. The address is shown there.

If I remember correctly, the QLineEdit capitalizes the first letter for some reason. Do you know how to fix this?
I have never had issues with password field, did you visit http://client.situare.net and approved the application before trying the client.

So, unusable with this issues.
Maybe we have to disable the warning message or try to figure out what's the problem. The map tiles are usually shown correctly despite the warning messages.
