Its a bit frustrating that its broke the theme changer, and im now stuck

Tried to uninstall it already?
If uninstaller won't work, you can revert to default theme by typing this into terminal (rootsh must be installed):
sudo gainroot
/usr/bin/personalisation /usr/share/themes/alpha

Then reboot and you can start figuring out how to fix it
