However, one thing confuses me a bit, what way is Nokia going to take when they now have both Symbian 3 and MeeGo. Are they going to divide their phones in two segments, where some get Symbian, and some get MeeGo. Isn't that somewhat confusing on their market focus, especially since they should keep themselves strong in the competition, iOS, Android and now Windows Mobile 7.
I'm curious about what strategy they have in mind.
Nokia has answered this in the past.

Hinted at all future N Series devices being MeeGo but that is not sure. We may see Symbian^4 on an N Series in the future

But yes Symbian and Meego will run in parallel.

Symbian 3 and 4 will continue to be a smartphone OS Nokia Meego Devices will be thought of more as pocket computers.

Having seen some Leaked images of the N9 in other threads (to be taken with a pinch of salt). The device very much looks along those lines. Think 4inch MacBook with phone functions.

If Nokia goes this way I will be very happy. This is exactly what I want from a phone. But I think I am a small user base.
