- Take battery out for 10 min
- Hold your download mode combination and put battery back in
- Once screen flickers once - stop holding power button, but keep rest.

sure, i read ... after i screwed the phone

it's my first contact with android, it seemed that you can fix everything ... see, even you were saying that it's bricked only when it's hardware damaged

nice there is a sticky thread on xda now, for those like me ... unfortunatelly i hurried to get froyo. it installed well, but it was slow and few things (google related) were not working ... so i cleaned some cache and rebooted and that was the end of it
