sorry for bringing up the old thread..i tried looking all over google, but none that can help my situation..even though there are similar situations, there's no workaround..perhaps i should just try my luck here..but,may i know how do i kill the wlan process?
whenever network connection error pops up, CPU hogs around 92%(process=wlan)
this is the second time i flashed both IMAGE and VANILLA..and more than 10 times flashing the image firmware only..but the problem still persists..
sometimes it can't detect wifi connections(no network available),even though there's tonnes of it around..sometimes,it couldn't establish the connection..saying connection error..then it'll uses up nearly 100% cpu..sometimes, the wifi signal blinks forever without connecting, but sometimes,it connects flawlessly..happens with all connections...
i tried entering in xterm command "killall -9 eapd", "killall wlancond"..but there's nothing to kill..but in the htop, the most cpu usage is from usr/sbin/wlancond..any idea how to kill the wlancond process?
when it's happening, entering "root" in xterminal did not do anything..root hangs..can't even be "root"...
how do i verify if its hardware related?though i dont think its hardware related because i managed to connect it sometimes..
