Based on the price drops, it seems like the N800 has approached end-of-life status. But I've noticed a lot of comments here that the N810, at $479, is too expensive for some to consider, myself included. So I wonder if Nokia will continue to produce the N800, but ship it with the new OS2008. For those of us who can forgo the GPS and slide-out keyboard, that would be a great option at a far more accessible price.

Sadly, I think they will not, and they may lose out of potential buyers once the stock of N800s at the $250 or less price disappears. (Who know how much N800 stock is still out there....there are still some places that have new 770s for sale [walmart.com, believe it or not!]
