Agreed. The tips and tricks thread could be pinned and moderated, removing superfluous info.

I had this discussion a while ago and it became apparent that what we were actually doing is building an odd wiki. Since a wiki already exists and is editable, there was little point in maintaining a thread.

Perhaps wiki should be more prominently pushed.
