Yeah, except that's not the problem. The problem is, Nokia's app manager stores downloaded packages into the root filesystem, so you need a croptan of free space. So even with no "customizations", it'll fail for a lot of people just because they have too much stuff installed.

Fapman stores downloaded packages in /opt, which is on the home partition, and usually has plenty of free space. So it'll succeed even when HAM fails.

(I'd say Nokia's HAM is made of fail, but that would be an oversimplification; it's really made of 50% fail, 50% lose, and 50% suck...)
