Still no upload to maemo, because i did something wrong, and now it cant be compiled @ maemo side....
Javispedro did help a lot to get this going, (THX for helping so far ^^) looks like one last pice is missing.
It looks pretty good to me - seems to function just fine.

Scratch that - after 1.3 it has a problem with libevent. Would be good if you could compile with the library libevent as a requirement rather than a specific version of it.
