A standard "jump to end" feature in scrollable widgets using some combination of drag and hardware button/sensor would be a nice improvement.

Oh and thanks for the Mappero reminder, I'd seen it crop up before, not sure why I'd never downloaded it before but it seems very good indeed (as it should, using the google maps API), leaps ahead of the standard maps, where searching for a postcode got me nowhere, even though some of the locations it does find include a postcode...
There's also Navit for completely offline use and voice direction, and i can also report that modRana is a very useful navigation app with a very responsive and active developer. It has some advanced capabilities.
