Hi, I copied some files from my N900 to a Dell Streak's (2.1) SD card. Hot-swapping on the N900 while switching the droid off. The problem is that the droid says the SD card is corrupted and cannot access it with file manager or other apps (didn't try xterm), even though the N900 can see the card with no problem. It was right after an issue with the card being write protected on the N900. I searched the android forums, where a number of people had the same problem so it very well could be an android thing. The best thing they came up with is to format the card...

Anybody got any idea how to fix it or what actually went wrong or how to avoid it? Could've the droid file system been 'corrupted' by maemo or just didn't dismount the card at hot-swap? Any help is appriciated. Thanks
