OS X (snow) is refered to as OS X v10.6.xx

So OS 10 10.6.xx???

The X denotes the change to a UNIX file system.

Though if you type 'say OS X' into terminal, it does say OS 10, but I maintain that is just steve the bender, and apple's strange draconian style.
