It is running as messagebus and user, with --system and --session respectively.
Using sudo -s then advanced-systemui still aborts.
Cannot lock tablet. Cannot change sound (too lazy), cannot change brightness (too lazy). Without the lock mechanism my tablet is useless since the leather case is always pushing the screen.
PLEASE FIX ASAP.
Battery life is horrendous since the screen lights up so much!

Update: Alright so it does lock, but it still lights up a ton for me. Dont' think it's related.
I changed in Gconf the C to F temp and the 24 hour to 12 hour, still won't start up. Might want to try rebooting tablet to see if it does anything...?

pressed power button - tablet still booting... locked up for... X seconds

It works now...

Looks like your problem lies in Gconf settings of either the time or the temp settings (or both) (or none, maybe it just had problems?)
