Recently I bought my second N900, and im reading posts to see if imhere really works


it worked great on pr 1.1, then I went without it for pr 1.2, now in pr1.3 it seems to keep asking me to connect to the internet right before it automatically sends the email. but I might have a setting different. it's been so long.

it installled like a charm the first time, but this second time I had to install gstreamer-tools first. below is instructions on how to do that:


you need to download rootsh first.

then go to terminal and type
sudo gainroot (enter)
then
apt-get install gstreamer-tools (enter)

then it should install fine!

just WRITE DOWN ON A PIECE OF PAPER every field you fill out in iamhere , just in case you forget. otherwise you have to reflash your phone and lose everything to fix it.

I figured out the connection problem. you seed to have "connect automatically" to "any connection" (which is mentioned in the program documentation) and you always need to have "search interval" checked, and "switch to wifi when available" checked.

having just "any connection" doesnt work. you need all 3 of those.

I just installed it yesterday.
