plus, on formatting the memcard,
if u format it from pc, you'll jus get around 1.4gb partition..
you need to go to xterm and type

sudo gainroot
umount /dev/mmcblk1p1
sfdisk /dev/mmcblk1 << EOM
,,C
,,
,,
,,
EOM
sync
mkfs.vfat /dev/mmcblk1p1

*ignore the error on the umount /dev/mmcblk1p1, its just a precaution*
