It took
Nokia 3 and a half weeks
to send back my replacement phone (as other could not be repaired) to the Optus store.
I've had this brand new replacement for
less than 4 weeks and the SAME thing has happened yet again last night
This is beginning to really frustrate me, simply unplugging and plugging the charger in has caused the same issue.
The metal part of the USB connector has not come out, but its extremely loose and the phone will not charge.
So it looks like another warranty return/replacement/repair yet again.
I swear to god, if this happens AGAIN i will simply return the N900 for another phone, albeit would have to settle for Android phone.
Nokia NEEDS to do something about this issue as clearly it is not a case of misuse of users of the phone, but simply a poor design of the phone and where and how the USB connector is placed.
