it will end up corrupting everything!
2.try to use the first script to change the mce.ini and not doing it yourself

as for the GUI errm ,this should give you a laugh, but i still havnt got the 'how to' install the maemo GTK
tried few times and failed so im sticking to scripts for now
till i get it right

I edit the mce.ini always from my n900 never had any problems so far... dont know what your talking about... mce will be loaded on start upso after that the mce.ini is not in use.
