Yes. Yes it does. See the first post in this thread, or the Swappolube wiki page.

N.B. On the wiki page, some of the descriptions are missing. If I have time to more fully understand the options, I will attempt to fill in the gaps.

Also: great work debernardis - although my N900 already seems faster since I installed PR1.3, it seems to be even better now. Swappolube is another great package with a slightly funny name.
