Oops - guilty of assumption again,
I had assumed the U-boot implementation in Power kernel
would hose the BackupMenu bootup menu.

I have been cautious (Always, when treading the turf of extras-dev)
and worked up this idea I would first buy the insurance of having
BackupMenu
and then install the power Kernel knowing I had a fallback position
before going on to apps and drivers (like fcam/Bless etc).
